Our Story

It was during my time as an attack helicopter pilot in the Marine Corps that I struggled with finding the right gear that would hold during our everyday missions.

After looking everywhere for gear that was up for the challenge, I realized that there are lot of sub-standard products on the market.  When I started TakeFlight I decided that the only products we would sell are those that could stand up to the toughest tasks.

As the great feedback started rolling in from military, police, and first responders who were all loving our tactical pens we started seeing a huge following of people outside these communities starting to use our products.

Everyone from doctors and nurses needing flashlights built into their pens to office warriors and business tycoons who just wanted to make sure they had the most bad a*s pen in the office!

Even though we've expanded from just tactical gear, we keep the company's origin in our mind.  Every product we offer MUST be of the highest quality and MUST adhere to our company's mission:
